Bowie Barker Connect

Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Bowie Barker Connect collects, uses, stores, and shares information when authorized users access the application or connect supported business systems such as QuickBooks Online.

Information we collect

We collect account and access information such as name, email address, organization, role, sign-in events, authorization status, and audit logs.

When a connected business system is authorized, we collect data made available through that system, which may include company profile information, chart of accounts, general ledger entries, trial balances, vendors, customers, classes, departments, locations, transaction metadata, and related financial or operational records.

How we use information

We use information to operate the service, authenticate and authorize users, maintain integrations, synchronize business data, generate reports, reconcile accounting records, detect errors or unauthorized access, provide support, and satisfy security, legal, compliance, and audit obligations.

QuickBooks Online data

For QuickBooks Online connections, Bowie Barker Connect accesses Intuit API data only as authorized by the connected account. OAuth tokens are used to maintain the connection and are stored in encrypted form. QuickBooks data is used to provide internal finance, reconciliation, mapping, reporting, and administration workflows for Bowie Barker and Post Investment Group.

Sharing

We share information only with authorized users and service providers who need it to operate, secure, host, support, or audit the service; with connected third-party systems as directed by authorized users; and when required by law, regulation, contract, or valid legal process. We do not sell personal information.

Security

The service uses access controls, encrypted transport, encrypted storage for sensitive token material, secret management, audit logging, and operational monitoring appropriate for the sensitivity of the data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so users must also follow approved access and data-handling practices.

Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to operate the service, maintain business records, support audit and reconciliation needs, satisfy legal or contractual obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary by data type and source system.

User choices and access

Authorized administrators may revoke connected-service access, remove users, adjust roles, or request correction of business records through approved internal processes. Some records may be retained where required for audit, accounting, security, or legal purposes.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service, integrations, laws, or business practices change. Continued use of the service after an update means the revised policy applies.
